Brooklyn Beckham sparks backlash over ‘disrespectful’ comment vowing to always choose wife
Brooklyn Beckham has shared a telling message in the wake of a rumoured family feud.
David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son has vowed to ‘always choose’ his wife Nicola Peltz in the midst of an escalating fallout with his devoted parents.
Brooklyn, 26, made his feelings clear on Instagram as he paid a tribute to Nicola, 30, who is the daughter of Miami-based billionaire businessman and investor Nelson Peltz.
Sharing a video of himself riding a motorbike with his wife on the back, Brooklyn, who now lives in Los Angeles, wrote in the caption: ‘My whole world x I will love you forever x
‘I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.’

The post divided opinion from Brooklyn’s fans, with just_yvonne_neill writing: ‘Real love doesn’t make you choose. Why can’t you love your wife AND your family. I hope whatever is going on can be resolved.’
Mrs_needz added: ‘Very childish. You owe everything to your parents. So start acting like it, you are hurting them.’

Reports of a family feud escalated after Brooklyn and Nicola failed to attend any of the events for David’s 50th birthday earlier this month– despite the couple also being in the UK.
Speaking to Metro, a source explained that Victoria is desperately hoping that Brooklyn will ‘come around’ as she has found the fallout ‘devastating’.

‘Victoria hates to think about her family being so divided, especially with it involving one of her children. Brooklyn’s absence at David’s 50th birthday party was noticeable and she desperately wished he would have been there,’ said the source.
‘She’s hoping Brooklyn will come around and see things for what they are. They’ve always been a close-knit family and seeing how things are now has been devastating for Victoria and David.’
Reaching out to Brooklyn, David made an olive branch gesture after the celebrations, telling his son that he was ‘missed’ from a boys’ trip fishing in Scotland as part of his birthday.
Posting on Instagram, David explained: ‘Six months ago I planned a trip with my boys at the start of last week to camp and fish for my 50th was so much fun.’

He then posted photos taken on the holiday, including images of himself with his two sons. A few hours later, he shared a selfie he’d taken with Romeo and Cruz, acknowledging Brooklyn’s absence.
‘You were missed,’ he added, tagging his eldest son in the post.
It has been suggested that Kim Turnball, Romeo’s new girlfriend, dated Brooklyn before she got into a relationship with Romeo, which has caused a rift between the brothers.
Although Cruz has rubbished claims that Brooklyn and Kim ever dated, it has still been reported that there are ongoing tensions within the family.
It’s been said that Brooklyn and Nicola have since grown close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, even accepting a dinner invite from the Sussexes, where they bonded over shared family experiences.
