Celebrity Traitors finale result leaks online after huge TV schedule mistake

The final episode of Celebrity Traitors has been leaked online more than 24 hours before it airs on BBC One tonight, but fear not – this is a spoiler free zone.
It wouldn’t be the Traitors if there wasn’t some added drama, as the finale of this year’s most-watched TV event has finally arrived.
With one episode of the series remaining, viewers will be tuning in at 9pm this evening to find out whether traitors Cat Burns and Alan Carr can scoop the £100,000 prize.
Or, will the three remaining faithfuls – Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed and David Olosuga – be able to stick a spanner in the works?
Now, however, it has been revealed that Crave, a streaming service in Canada, leaked the results yesterday evening, meaning hundreds of people already know who wins.
Metro is choosing not to reveal who the winner is, so you can all breathe a sigh of relief.

A soucre told Metro: ‘I was so surprised to see the episode was available to watch on Crave as I know it hasn’t aired in the UK yet.
‘I decided not to watch it, but it was on the streaming service for a good few hours and long enough for people to watch the entire episode. It looks like it’s been taken down now and is no longer available to stream.’
According to The Sun, the episode was removed from the streaming service after 90 minutes, but not before fans were able to watch it and detail exactly what happened.
Taking to Reddit, one fan said the final was ‘really good’ and claimed that they ‘didn’t think this would be the ending’.
Much to the shock of British viewers, who will be waiting for tonight’s episode at 9pm UK time, fans in New Zealand also had the chance to watch the finale as it streamed on ThreeNow, the streaming site for Channel 3, where the BBC show airs in New Zealand.

This comes after a Celeb Traitors star revealed the moment a star ‘kicked off’ behind the scenes.
In a new interview on Stuart Goldsmith’s The Comedian’s Comedian podcast, finalist Nick Mohammed spoke about how contestants were not able to know the time.
‘All your devices are taken from you. I was allowed one phone conversation a day with the kids. You are isolated from the outside world.
‘We weren’t even allowed to know the time. So when we were in the castle, you’d be like: “What’s the time?” And they’d be like: “It’s Traitors time”,’ he said.
He then continued: ‘Every single member of production had to just answer with that until someone kicked off and they said: “It’s a basic human right, you can just tell us the time, it doesn’t mean anything!”.’
Metro has contacted BBC and Crave for comment.
The Celebrity Traitors final will be available to watch on BBC One tonight at 9pm.
