Two Emmerdale legends say goodbye as filming ends
Emmerdale’s Isabel Hodgins and Amy Walsh have both departed the ITV soap for their maternity leave.
Isabel, who plays Victoria Sugden in the show, is currently awaiting the arrival of her first baby with partner Adam.
Amy, meanwhile, is pregnant with her second child.
The star, who plays Tracy Shankley in the show, is in a relationship with EastEnders actor Toby-Alexander Smith. The couple met in the audience while watching an episode of Strictly Come Dancing.
Amy recently confirmed that she’s now filmed her exit scenes, which means it won’t be long until we see Tracy leave. Over on her Instagram Stories, the actress shared a picture of the entrance to ITV studios, writing alongside that her ‘Last day’ had arrived.
‘Let’s do this!’, she added.
It’s currently unknown just how Tracy will depart the Emmerdale village. The character has been through a lot this past year, as she’s had to try and move forward following the murder of her husband Nate Robinson.
Could she choose to start her life again elsewhere with young Frankie?
Amy’s friend and co-star Isabel Hodgins has been on maternity leave for a while now, but her exit as Victoria aired this week.
The resident decided to leave for Portugal with son Harry, following a stressful start to 2026.
After killing her brother John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), Vic became consumed with guilt and struggled to see how she could live a normal life again. Alongside this, she was forced to sell the Sugden farmland to Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), who had footage of her covering up John’s death and was using it as a blackmail weapon.
Despite Robert Sugden’s (Ryan Hawley) pleas, Victoria had made up her mind. She packed her bags and said goodbye to life in Emmerdale, believing the village was holding too many bad memories for her.

Following the emotional scenes, Isabel took to Instagram to share a stunning photograph of her and Ryan in walking down Main Street.
They are linking arms and chatting, with the street lamp projecting a gorgeous orange glow around them.
‘That’s a wrap’, Isabel simply wrote in the caption.
Indeed it is.
Isabel is saying goodbye to her character Vic after playing her for 20 years, while Amy has portrayed the role of Tracy since 2014.
